Education
I hold a Masters in Anthropology from Northern Illinois University. I specifically Specialized in Archaeology. My Bachelors degree was also in Anthropology. I have been dedicated to Anthropology since I watched various documentaries displaying past cultures and archaeological finds as a small child. Anthropology has been my passion for nearly 20 years now.
Experience
In addition to my education in Anthropology, I also have extensive experience teaching the subject to others. I have been a Teaching Assistant in Anthropology throughout graduate school. I then moved on to teaching Anthropology, part-time, in various colleges. I am qualified to teach, and thus tutor, in any subfield of Anthropology. I have been teaching for several years now, and am looking into tutoring, in order to have a bit of a flexible schedule, since I have a young family. I also immensely enjoying teaching and helping others, so if I can continue to make a difference for students, then I will be happy. As a Teacher I pride myself in being approachable and patient. I believe this is important in order to establish a comfortable environment conducive to a student's learning and ability to ask questions. Along with my Anthropology background, I am comfortable with writing help.

Hobbies
I genuinely enjoy helping others, especially in an education environment. I have always been someone who went out of my way to help give a fellow classmate, to see a different perspective on what we were learning at the time. So my main interest is to be available to all my students, past and present. I often will hear from students a few semesters after I had them, either just to say "Hi" or because they took another course with me. besides my dedication to students and teaching, my other interests are giving as much attention to my young family. I like to spend time playing with my kids and their toys, reading books, going to the park, and spending time with them in other ways that they may enjoy.
